Landscape’s Poetry, 2019

Using collograph and cyanotype processes, found remnants of sea life are mounted onto and then printed from, found plastic on Iceland’s southern coast. The marks made by seaweed and sea urchin become a new hieroglyphics, written poetry from the dismantled fragment. By culling language from surface, making the invisible mark visible, I become an interpreter.
